Investigations into a sexual assault are underway after a woman was allegedly raped at a property in Reading.
The incident occurred at an address on East Street on Saturday, May 18.
Ruiting Xia, 24, of East Street, Reading has been charged with rape of a woman over 16, sexual assault, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, threatening to disclose a private image and theft.
He was remanded in custody after being charged today (21/5) and is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court later today.
