Knowsley Street, Bolton, 1965
We know how much Looking Back readers enjoy seeing photographs of Bolton town centre in years gone by.
So here’s a great one showing Knowsley Street in 1965.
A policeman is controlling the traffic to allow pedestrians to use the crossing. On the right you can see Collinson’s shop - anyone remember that one?
And also next door is J Jones which was both a costumiers and furriers - that’s not something you’d see today!
