A man accused of assaulting a woman and breaking a window has pleaded not guilty.
Jaroslaw Kurpiewski, 55, of Newcastle Road, Reading, appeared before Reading Magistrates' Court on March 5.
This was over an incident on March 29 last year. Kurpiewski is alleged to have damaged a window, and to have assaulted a woman by beating her.
He denied the charges.
A further hearing date in the case has been set for June 10.
Ahead of this hearing, Kurpiewski has been released on conditional bail.
As part of this arrangement, he is prohibited from contacted the complainant in the case.
