CARLUCCIO'S in Reading is celebrating this week with free pizzas for a number of lucky diners in celebration of a new menu launch.

Five complimentary pizzas are being served up daily until March 29 at Carluccio's Reading on a first-come-first-served basis.

It comes as the Italian has launched a new menu that takes diners on a 'culinary journey to Naples' - crafted by the pizzaiolo Eric Chauvet who was trained by Antonio Carluccio himself.

As part of the new menu, Carluccio’s has introduced the Pizza Alla Napoletana crafted using the traditional ‘Biga’ recipe, hailing from Naples, 'ensuring a flawlessly light and airy crust that transports patrons to the cobblestone streets of Italy'.

Marc Wilson, Head of Operations at Carluccio’s, said: “Our dedication to authenticity is unwavering. Our Pizza Alla Napoletana invites patrons to savour the genuine essence of Naples; from the meticulously crafted ‘Biga’ dough to the thoughtfully selected toppings.

"This introduction is a direct response to the repeated requests from our discerning guests, who consistently sought exceptional quality pizzas.

"At Carluccio’s, we pride ourselves on listening to our patrons, and this addition to our extensive menu reflects our commitment to meeting their desires for culinary excellence.”

To mark the new menu launch, Carluccio's has priced £20 for two pizzas until March 27, 2024. As well as the offer of five complimentary pizzas daily on a first-come-first-served basis from March 25, 2024, until March 29, 2024.
