A popular Reading pub is set to re-open TODAY following a major six-figure refurbishment.
Located on Wokingham Road, The Palmer Tavern will be helmed by Reading-born publican Samantha Lane and her all-female team.
This comes as a huge revamp was announced by current owners, Greene King, which includes a new outdoor seating area with room for a host of activities and events.
Customers can also look forward to a range of community events over the coming months including their Easter egg hunt and fun day on March 31.
The team at the Palmer Tavern expressed their excitement at the opening, welcoming everyone to come along and say hello.
The launch night will take place this evening (22/7) at 7 pm with live music.
