A man has appeared in court accused of mistreating children in his care at a Berkshire children's home.
The defendant is to stand trial on October 21, charged with three counts of cruelty to a person under the age of 16.
He appeared before Reading Crown Court today (February 27) and denied the allegations.
The abuse is alleged to have taken place between June and September 2023.
Neither the defendant nor the children's home can be named for legal reasons.
