Five masked men are being hunted by police following a burglary at a property in Reading.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 pm on Saturday, February 10 on Body Road when the offenders forced their way into the home and injured three residents.

During the burglary, several mobile phones and a quantity of cash were stolen.

Thames Valley Police have reported that the offenders were wearing black face coverings and carrying knives.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Jennifer Cox, part of the Priority Crime Team based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this burglary to please get in touch.

“Also, if you have any CCTV or doorbell footage in the area or dash-cam footage if you were driving in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.
