A couple have been left with injuries after being attacked in a park.
Between 7.50am and 8am on Monday, January 8, a husband and wife were walking their dog in Palmer Park, near to the Palmer Park library, when another man’s dog became aggressive towards them.
The couple sprayed the dog with dog spray in an attempt to contain the situation.
The owner of the aggressive dog then physically attacked the couple and smashed their phone on the floor.
One of the victims sustained bruising to their face but did not require hospital treatment.
Thames Valley Police is releasing two images following the incident.
Designated Investigator Rebecca Concannon, based at Reading police station, said: “Although the images are of poor quality, I am hoping that someone recognises the man pictured, especially anyone from the local dog walking community who regularly use the park.
“I am appealing to anybody who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch with us as we believe he may have vital information about this incident.
“If you are pictured, please come forward as soon as possible.
