Water has been reinstated within homes across Reading after 10 burst pipes caused problems during the cold weather.
Issues were originally reported on Saturday, January 20 just after midday due to an initial fall in treatment works.
Thames Water updated residents across Pangbourne, Reading and Tilehurst that ‘all customers should all have some mains water supply, but it may be at a lower pressure than normal.
Whilst fixing the issues at Pangbourne Water Treatment, 50 engineers were called in to help fix leaks and remove airlocks from the network.
The bottled water station will remain open until 21:00 this evening. Please be considerate and don’t take more than you need.
Thames Water said: “Thank you for your continued patience while we fix this.”
