A popular fish and chip shop is set to close after almost a decade of service within the Reading community.
Finn’s, located on Hatherley Road in East Reading, is a local restaurant specialising in traditional fish and chips.
After nine years of business, the restaurant has announced that they will be closing their doors at the end of this month.
A post on social media announced that the owners will now be moving on to new ventures and projects.
The restaurant said: “It’s with a heavy heart that we are announcing the closure of Finns. It’s been a great 9 years but it’s time for us to move on to new ventures and projects.
“We want to thank everyone for their support and custom; we couldn’t have done it without you all!”
The final day of trade will be Tuesday, January 23.
Over the last decade, Finn’s Fish and Chip’s has gained incredible reviews with a Trip Advisor rating of four out of five.
