A Pangbourne neighbourhood has been the centre of a tragic murder investigation after two deaths were reported across the Village.
The murder probe began on Friday, January 5 after police were called to the scene of a crash at around 5:45pm on January 4 on the A340 Tidmarsh Road at the junction with Flower's Hill.
30 minutes later an 18-year-old man was struck by a train at Pangbourne Station and died at the scene.
A murder probe began into both deaths and investigators were seen at both a £2.5 Million mansion on Flower’s Hill and at Pangbourne train station.
A scene watch continued at the property on what is known as “Millionaire’s Row” in Pangbourne and flowers were left outside the gates as a tribute.
Police officers said that they are linking the two deaths.
Following the tragic incident, neighbours said they are saddened at the turn of events.
