An independent street food hub has announced its plans for seeing in the New Year.

Blue Collar Corner, a venue in Hosier Street, has announced it will be hosting a disco on December 31.

The venue boasts a bar and street food vendors across two floors.

For a second year, Blue Collar Corner will welcome in the new year under a giant mirrorball to the sound of disco floorfillers.

Four of their most popular street food kitchens, Arty Stan Pizza, Buddy’s Burgers, Crayfish Kitchen and Mr Pig Stuff will all be preparing New Year’s Eve specials for ticketholders to enjoy before dancing the night away.

“Last year’s Discorama on New Year’s Eve was a brilliant night” explains Blue Collar’s Glen Dinning.

“We had a huge mix of people, young and old, all enjoying great street food and drinks then filling our dancefloor all night long.

"We can’t wait to do it all again with even more DJs playing disco classics from start to finish."

Blue Collar Corner has already filled its January diary for 2024, following a week break which will see the venue close until 5pm on January 11, 2024.

Throughout January and February the venue will host interviews with former Reading FC players, a Burns Night whisky tasting, special guest DJs, Six Nations Rugby Screening and a record fair.
