A ROAD has been closed in Reading this evening with reports of a huge police response in the area.
Reports suggest around 10 police vehicles have been scrambled to Reading Road in Woodley.
The busy road has been closed off in both directions due to a crash.
It is believed the crash has involved a van and a motorbike, however this has not yet been confirmed by Thames Valley Police.
Traffic reports say the road is blocked from the junction with the A4 London Road along to Howth Drive, Woodley.
Reading Buses is also reporting diversions as a result of the crash.
