The following cases were heard at Reading or Slough Magistrates’ Courts.

DANIEL BEECHY, 46, of St George’s Avenue, Newbury, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Market Place, Newbury on May 7 this year. He was fined £60. There were also court costs of £85.

ARCHIE JURY, 20, of Lower Way, Thatcham, pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Thatcham on May 8 with 55 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months, reduced by 16 weeks, and fined £120. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £48.

STUART DUKES, 51, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Newbury Retail Park in Pinchington Lane on May 8 this year with 93 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 milllilitres of breath. He was given a community order to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity. He was also disqualified from driving for 23 months, reduced by 23 weeks. He must also abstain from alcohol for 60 days and be subject to electronic monitoring. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

IRFAN ZAMAN, 36, of Erleigh Court Gardens, Earley, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified on May 9 this year in Bracknell as well as driving without third-party insurance and failing to provide a specimen for testing at Loddon Valley Police Station. He was jailed for 12 weeks and disqualified from driving for 56 months. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £154.

JACOB OAKLEY, 22, of St Johns Road, Newbury, was found guilty of causing another person harassment, alarm or distress of July 20 last year. He was given a community order to complete 40 days of rehabilitation activity and was made subject to an electronic curfew. There were court costs of £150.

AQUEEL AHWAN, 35, of Long Readings Lane, Slough, pleaded guilty to drug driving on June 26 last year. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £934. There were also court costs of £775 and a victim surcharge of £374.

MICHAEL LONG, 44, of Oxford Road, Reading, pleaded guilty to causing people harassment, alarm or distress on September 17 last year as well as resisting a police constable on the same day. He was fined £357. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £285.

KYLE HERON, 30, of Eastfield Road, Burnham, Slough, pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to police/court bail on March 28 this year in Basingstoke. The detention deemed served by reason of time already spend in custody.

MARK LOVEGROVE, 48, of Martinscroft, Collerne, Wiltshire, was found guilty of drink driving on April 23 in Kintbury with 113 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath as well as driving without third party insurance. He was given a community order to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity and was disqualified from driving for 40 months. He was also fined £200. There were also court costs of £775 and a victim surcharge of £95.
