A MAN has been charged with multiple counts of shoplifting in Reading, following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.
Dale Hayward, 36, was charged on Monday (November 13) with four counts of shoplifting.
The charges are in connection with various incidents of shoplifting occurring between October 30 and November 7 this year in both London Road and Broad Street.

Hayward, of no fixed abode, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on December 18.
He will then make his plea and it will be decided if the alleged offences can be dealt with in the lower courts.
