A man's body has sadly been recovered from the River Loddon following reports of someone in the water.
Thames Valley Police, the fire service, and SCAS were called to the scene off Thistleton Way at 10:38 am after reports made by a member of the public.
Cordons are currently in place to allow officers to conduct enquiries at the scene.
A spokesperson from Thames Valley Police said: "Thames Valley Police were called to the River Loddon off Thistleton Way at 10.38am today to reports of a body in the river.
"Sadly, a man’s body was recovered from the water. The force is investigating an unexplained death, which is not believed to be suspicious.
"The man’s next of kin has been informed."
