A man in his thirties has been assaulted after being run off the road by a white Ford Ranger.

The incident occurred at around 1pm on Sunday, September 24 near to the junction of the A4074 on Reading Road.

Police reported that a passenger from the Ford Ranger and a man from a Volkswagen Candy van both got out of their vehicles, approached the motorcycle rider, assaulted him and took his phone.

The man in the white Ford Ranger has been described as a 5ft 10ins white man in his late twenties with skinny build, high cheekbones and short, shaved hair on the sides with slightly longer hair on the top.

Thames Valley Police have described the man who got out of the van as a 5ft 10ins man in his late forties with a larger build and a similar hair cut to the first man.

Investigating officer, PC Aaron Carter said: “We are investigating this incident and following a number of lines of enquiry.

“We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dash-cam footage to please come forward.
