FESTIVALGOERS are already queuing up ahead of the annual event his weekend.
Reading and Leeds Festival will run from Friday, August 25 to Sunday, 27 in Richard Avenue, Reading, with the gates opening today (Wednesday, August 23) at 6pm for early bird ticket holders and tomorrow (Thursday, August 24) at 8am for normal ticket holders.
People can be seen queueing outside the gates with their tents and bags while other festival-goers can be seen getting dropped off on surrounding roads such as Caversham Road.
Others have been seen lining up down Richard Avenue, prepping to wait for the date.

This has caused some traffic issues this morning (Wednesday 23) with people driving in and out of Reading through Caversham.
Commuters and residents have been warned to expect some delays over the course of the weekend.
Despite festival-goers already arriving, none of the acts will be taking to the stage until Friday (August 25) when big names like Sam Fender, Foals, You Me At Six, Wetleg and more are due to perform.

The Killers, Nothing but Thieves, The 1975 and Knucks are some of the names due to perform on Saturday followed by Billie Eilish, Imagine Dragons, Becky Hill and more on the Sunday.
