The following cases were heard at Reading or Slough Magistrates’ Courts

STEPHEN SMITH, 35, of Chilworth Grove, Stoke-on-Trent, pleaded guilty to being drunk in a designated sports ground on September 4, 2021 in Reading as well as displaying any writing, sign or other visible representation which was threatening or abusive within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress on the same day. He was fined £550. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £100.

ALEX HILBOURNE, 48, of Old Bah Road, Charvil, Reading, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating on August 1 in Charvil last year. He was given a period of conditional discharge for 12 months and made to pay £40 in compensation. There were also court costs of £85 but no order for a victim surcharge.

GEORGE NJOROGE, 33, of Ock Street, Abingdon, was found guilty to drink driving in Reading on November 5 last year with namely 44 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath as well as driving while disqualified. He was fined £240 and was disqualified from driving for 16 months, reduced by 16 weeks. He was also ordered to pay £300 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £96.

KEITH PERRY, 31, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods in Maidenhead on November 10 last year, namely air pods to the value of £81. He also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to court on March 3 this year. He was fined £160 and was ordered to pay £85 in court costs.

CHARLIE RYAN 30, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified in Reading on January 12 this year. He was given a community order to complete 80 hours of unpaid work. His driving record was also endorsed with six penalty points. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

DIPAN LIMBU, 31, of Oxford Road, Reading, was found guilty of assault by beating on June 11 last year in Caversham Park, Reading. He was given a community order to complete 15 days of rehabilitation activity. There was also court costs of £100 and a victim surcharge of £95.

JAYSON STROZYNSKI, 56, of Crown Meadow, Colnbrook, Slough, pleaded guilty to harassment between December 31, 2021 and August 28, 2022 by putting unwanted letters and notes through a woman’s letter box. He was given a community order to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity days. He was also made subject to a restraining order. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £95.

ADRIAN JOHN, 44, of Granville Road, Reading, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a motor vehicle on October 15 last year in Rading with namely 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £300 and his driving record was endorsed with 10 penalty points.

JAKE JENKINS, 20, of Holmbrook House, Bracknell, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, one on December 17, 2022 and another on November 30, 2022. He was given a 52 week detention in a youth offender institution suspended for 23 months. He will also need to complete 25 rehabilitation activity days and pay £250 in compensation. He was also made to pay £500 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £187.
