A SIGNALLING fault between London Paddington and Reading is causing major disruption on services this morning (July 26).
The fault means trains have to run at a reduced speed on some lines, with services being cancelled, delayed or revised.
Major disruption was expected until 12pm but has been extended until 6pm.
Affected routes:
- Elizabeth line between Reading / Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 / Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 and London Paddington
- Great Western Railway between Penzance / Paignton / Carmarthen / Hereford / Oxford / Greenford and London Paddington
- Heathrow Express between Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 and London Paddington
A signalling fault between Reading and London Paddington also caused delays yesterday (July 25).
