The following cases were heard at Reading or Slough Magistrates’ Courts.

February 20:

JAMIE RALPH, 34, of Newtown Road, Newbury, pleaded guilty to stealing £40 of wine from Tesco on January 21 this year. He was fined £100 and no order for costs was made.

ELVIS FILIP, 28, of Perry Oaks, Bracknell, was found guilty of possessing a folding pocketknife in a public place on February 20 last year. He was fined £975 and an order was made for the knife to be forfeited and destroyed. There were also court costs of £500 and a victim surcharge of £98.

NICOLE BROWN, 27, of Horton Road, Slough, was found guilty of assault by beating on April 14 last year as well as damaging a door belonging to Slough Borough Council and damaging a mannequin belonging to the victim of the assault. Brown was given a community order to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity. She was also fined £92 and ordered to pay £50 in compensation. An order was made for £500 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £95.

LUKE ALLEN, 48, of Wheatlands Road, Slough, pleaded guilty to assault by beating on June 25 last year. He was given a period of conditional discharge for 24 months and was ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £26.

JOSHUA COX, 30, of Fallows Road, Padworth, Reading, pleaded guilty to disclosing a private sexual photograph or film with consent on September 24 last year as well as one count of harassment through unwanted phone calls between July 17, 2022 and September 25, 2022. He was given a community order for 150 hours of unpaid work and must abstain from alcohol for 90 days. There was also an order for 20 days of rehabilitation activity. There was court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

CAHIT CETINBAS, 52, of Galsworthy Drive, Caversham, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood for testing under the Road Traffic Act 1997 on October 12 last year. They were fined £120 and disqualified from driving for 12 months. They were also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £48.

LLOYD KWARAMBA, 23, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to drink driving on September 4 last year with namely 218 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months and fined £300. There was also a victim surcharge of £120 and court costs of £85.

SIMON BUCKLEY, 33, of Brunel Road, Maidenhead, pleaded guilty to four counts of fraud and one count of receiving stolen goods. The details are that on November 27 he purchased £45.27 of items with a stolen card in one store, £25 was spent in a second store, £25.51 in a third store and £21.98 in a fourth store. Between February 22, 2023 and February 28, 2023 he received stolen goods, a pair of Tommy Hillfiger sunglasses and a number of golden religious statues, to the value of £80. Buckley was jailed for 16 weeks. There was also a victim surcharge of £154.
