A LARGE police presence was spotted outside a Reading hotel this weekend.
Several police vehicles and officers could be seen outside the Penta Hotel in Oxford Road on Sunday (July 16) at about 2.10pm.
Two or three police officers could be seen patrolling Queen’s Walk just next door to the hotel, outside Reading Biscuit Factory.

Another police car could be seen further up Oxford Road in addition to the four outside the hotel itself.
Passers-by were unsure what was happening. The Chronicle have contacted Thames Valley Police for a statement.
However, they have been unable to provide any details due to it not being found in their system.
