New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to a variety of eateries over the last few months, according to the food standards agency.

From coffee shops, to pubs, each have something different to offer customers.

However, with mounting responsibility for restaurants to offer a safe and hygienic environment, and food delivery companies like Deliveroo demanding a high hygiene rating, it is more important than ever.

Each inspection takes place in conjunction with Food Standards and Reading Borough Council.

Four restaurants, cafes and canteens have been inspected and given their ratings which will be set until their next inspection unless it is disputed.

One bar and three takeaways have also been inspected with varying reports.
