The following cases were heard at Reading or Slough Magistrates’ Courts.

February 13:

SONNER TODD, 49, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a violent offender intermin order on February 12 this year. He was sent to prison for 14 days.

GEORGE FRANKLIN, 21, of Buttercup Way, Southminster, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman on February 12 this year in Windsor. He was fined £300 and ordered to pay an £85 court cost and a victim surcharge of £120.

MOHAMMED BUTT, 23, of Hambleden Walk, Maidenhead, was found guilty of masturbating in a public place – namely Maidenhead – on April 7 last year. He was ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work as well to complete 25 days of rehabilitation activity. There was also an order for a £775 court cost and a victim surcharge of £95.

LOIS PROUD, 21, of White Paddock Maidenhead, was found guilty of assaulting three police officers on May 27 last year in Slough as well as beating a woman in Maidenhead. He also destroyed a Slushy machine, tea/coffee tank, glasses and good to the value of £5,000 belonging to the woman. He was given a period of conditional discharge for 24 months and ordered to pay £50 in compensation.

GEORGE PILCHER, 28, of Beanoak Road, Wokingham, pleaded guilty to harassing another person by sending racial, abusive and threatening communications between July 15, 2022 and October 5, 2022. He was made subject to a restraining order as well as ordered to complete 180 hours of unpaid work. There was also a £500 court cost to pay and a victim surcharge of £114.
