A PANGBOURNE cheese shop shares the secrets for success after being shortlisted for multiple business awards.

Cheese Etc, The Pangbourne Cheese Shop recently won the UK Enterprise Awards in the Best Cheese Shop category, Southeast.

Talking about the UK Enterprise Award win, shop owner, Jen Grimstone-Jones, said it was a “complete shock”.

“We knew we had been nominated and then short-listed but we never dreamt that we would win. It’s a lovely reflection on all of the team here who work really hard to make the shop a success.

UK Enterprise Awards are based on several aspects of the business including innovation, customer feedback and business performance.

“It is always amazingly rewarding to achieve such recognition, and everyone here is over the moon!”, Jen added.

The team have also been shortlisted in the Muddy Stilettos’ Awards in the Farm Shop/Deli category and regional winners will be announced on June 13.

When asked what the secret to success is, the owner said “hard work and dedication”.

“We continually strive to improve everything we offer to our customers. From great products to top rated customer service we like to think that visiting our shop makes our customers smile.”

Jen Grimstone-Jones added: “We are so grateful to everyone that comes into Cheese Etc, The Pangbourne Cheese Shop and buys from us. Without our customers we wouldn’t exist.”
