A BUS company is still investigating a crash where one of it’s vehicles collided into a street light in Woodley.
At about 6pm on March 23, a Reading Buses vehicle crashed into the island off Howth Drive, breaking a streetlight before coming to a stop on the pavement.
The driver of the bus was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital as a precaution, but no other injuries have been reported. An eyewitness said no one was walking along the pavement at the time.

A Reading Buses spokesperson said: “We are investigating the incident in Woodley on March 23. There were no injuries to customers or other road users.”
The company were unable to answer how the bus crashed or the condition of the driver.
