The following cases were heard at Reading or Slough Magistrates’ Courts.
January 19:
ROISIN WALSH, 54, of The Coombe, Reading, convicted of criminal damage worth £7.63 to a practice book belonging to Thames Valley Police on December 23 in Lower Earley. Fined £20. Also ordered to pay £45 court costs and £8 victim surcharge.
STAN COSMIN, 30, of Beresford Road, Reading, convicted of drink-driving in Craddock Road, Reading, on December 23. Found to have 46mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Also convicted of using a motor vehicle without the correct insurance on December 23, 2022. Fined £615. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £166 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for three years.
CHARLES STEELE, 25, of Ravensbourne Drive, Woodley, convicted of drink-driving in Liverpool Road, Reading, on December 27, 2022. Found to have 54mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £923. Disqualified from driving for 14 months. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £369 victim surcharge.
SHAUN DYKE, 47, of Tern Close, Reading, convicted of using a vehicle on a public road without the correct insurance in High Street, Thatcham, on December 28. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 court costs. Six points added to driving licence.
MIHAI PETRE, 34, of Aysgarth, Bracknell, convicted of drink-driving in Birch Hill Road, Bracknell, on December 28, 2022. Found to have 63mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £461. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £184 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for one year.
