A FEEL-good show is coming to the Kenton Theatre this Easter as the award-winning Reading Operatic Society perform Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

With lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the show brings a story based on the Old Testament character from the Book of Genesis.

It follows the pride, fall and ultimate redemption of Joseph, one of Jacob’s 12 sons and his coat of many colours.

Joseph is a much-loved family classic featuring an iconic pop and musical theatre score with songs including Any Dream Will Do, Close Every Door To Me and Go, Go Joseph.

The show has been performed in numerous productions in 86 countries and famous leads have included Jason Donovan, Donny Osmond, Phillip Schofield, Sheridan Smith, Ian H Watkins among many more.

With the creative team of director Lloyd White, musical director Mark Webb and choreographer Nicky Jaggar-Ryan, the show promises to be a ‘splashy, spectacle-driven, fun extravaganza’ suitable for all ages.

Mr White said: “Joseph is the original ‘feel-good’ musical. Packed full of memorable tunes and great routines. This show is amazing fun for all the family and certainly one not to miss.”

The show will take place from Wednesday, April 5 to Saturday, April 8 on the theatre in Henley.
