Snow and ice could be on its way to Berkshire as the Met Office issue a yellow weather warning for today (Friday, March 10).

The weather warning for London and the South East has been issued from 4am to 12pm on Friday.

The Met Office warn that areas of light snow and ice could cause travel disruption.

You should be aware that some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services. There may be icy patches on roads, pavements and cycle paths.

Slough

- Temperatures will be as low as minus one degree Celsius. It will be overcast for most of the day with rain coming in at 3pm.

Windsor

- Temperatures will be as low as minus two degrees Celsius. It will be overcast for most of the day with sunny intervals this afternoon.

Bracknell

- Temperatures will be as low as minus one degree Celsius. It will be overcast for most of the day with heavy rain coming in at 2pm.

 

A few cms of snow is likely in places, with 2-4 cm possible over some higher ground. Icy surfaces also likely to develop.
