Numerous trains running to Henley-on-Thames have been cancelled this morning due to a 'significant signalling issue'.

There have already been cancellations throughout the morning to Henley-on-Thames bound trains with more scheduled until at least 12pm today (February 19).

Great Western Railway blamed it on a signalling failure before confirming at 9:01am this morning.

They said: " Due to a significant signalling issue at Reading Train Care Depot this morning, Great Western Railway are currently unable to get their trains out of the depot and into passenger service this morning.

The train line has requested three coaches for customers to start a Twyford and run to Henley-On-Thames which will return on an hourly basis.

Great Western Railways added: “Customers at Wargrave and Shiplake are kindly asked to trigger one of the available help-points located on the platform for further assistance.”
