A 34 year-old man has been jailed after stealing a variety of food and household items from a local supermarket.
Thames Valley Police reported that Benjamin Frape, 34, of Vale Road in Windsor pleaded guilty to two counts of theft during incidences on January 11 and January 24.
This occurred in Tesco Express in Clarence Road, Windsor and involved theft of items such as meat and dishwasher tablets.
Designated Investigator Graham Bavin, based at Maidenhead police station, said: “I am pleased that Frape has been sentenced for these offences.
“Thames Valley Police does not tolerate theft and will work to bring offenders to justice.”
After being arrested on January 24, Frape was sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment at Reading Magistrates Court on Friday, January 27.
