Thousands of fans from up and down the country came together last weekend (29/1) in memory of local boy, Ethan Treharne.

In conjunction with Sellebrity Soccer and the Treharne family, well-known TV personalities and celebs journeyed to Sandhurst for some light-hearted fun and footie.

The team were also joined by local councillors, the Mayor of Sandhurst and Bracknell and representatives from both the Brain Tumour Research and Frimley Health Trust.

As a fundraiser, this event lent itself to help further research for brain cancer and care at Frimley Health.

Nikki Treharne, Ethan's mum said: "It's incredible how many thousands of people are here today on his birthday.

"Obviously it's bittersweet because I wish Ethan was here but I'm so pleased that so many people have lent their names, their time, their effort and their money to get here for Ethan.

"I'm so thankful."

Celebrities who turned up in the day included Danny Dyer, James Arthur and Dan Osbourne.

Singer and songwriter James Arthur, said: "These things are amazing. I've done alot of them now and it's always great to be involved in any charity. It's the least I can do.

"I'm a big football fan and i've played since I was a kid. These things are always great and so light-hearted. Although they can get competitive, it's still enjoyable."
