Sky Sports pundit and former Premier League favourite Jimmy Bullard has tipped young Reading goalkeeper Coniah Boyce-Clarke to break into the first team.

Bullard, who played for the likes of Wigan Athletic, Fulham and Hull City, was at Bearwood Training Ground to film a segment for popular show Soccer AM.

Dubbed 'You Know the Drill', Bullard came up against top scorer Tom Ince in a battle to beat Jamaica Under-20 stopper Boyce-Clarke in the net.

A regular for the Under-21s and occasionally on the bench, Boyce-Clarke is yet to make his league debut for the Royals.

Speaking on a video after the drill, Bullard was quizzed on his morning session and Reading in general.

"I don’t know the keepers name, but the keeper is an absolute worldie. I’m sure the Guv’nor is eyeing him up to get in your first team very soon. I can tell a player, especially a keeper. He was mustard.

"I live down the road, so I always have an eye on close clubs. Incey’s come in and done a pucker job. Steadied the ship right up, in my opinion. I played in the Championship for a long time, it’s a tough league. Even rubbing the shoulders with the gaffer now, he’s got something about him. A bit of fear factor, I love him. Midtable, looking onwards and upwards."

The show is set to be aired on Saturday morning.
