A MAN has been left with a broken nose and fractured eye socket after a trio were attacked in an early morning fight in Reading town centre.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after two men and a woman were assaulted in Friar Street in the early hours of Sunday, December 4.
The attack happened about 3.50am and the three victims were a 19-year-old woman, a 19-year-old man and a 22-year-old man.
One of the victims, the 19-year-old man, sustained serious injures including a fractured eye socket and broken nose. He was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
Police said a 22-year-old man, from Reading, has since been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a person thereby occasioning actual bodily harm and wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent. He has been released on bail until January 10.
Investigating officer, PC Tyla Rogerson, based at Reading police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this assault to please come forward.
