Rachel Rowe's stunning strike in the recent 2-1 win over Leciester City earned the WSL Goal of the Month for August.

Falling behind early on, the Royals rallied and scored two stoppage time goals, including this to win the game, and pick up a first WSL win of the campaign.

Rowe picked the ball up over 30 yards out from goal and sent a piledriver into the bottom corner.

Speaking on the goal to the press, manager Kelly Chambers called it 'magic.'

"Within 30 seconds of scoring the first goal we were having discussions in the technical area. I felt we were on top for that period, so we just got the girls and said, β€˜let’s go for it.’ It just paid off. We changed shape to try and get back into the game and it benefitted. A little bit of magic from Rowey [Rachel Rowe] helps as well."

Now on an international break, the Royals don't play until November 20.

With one win all season, they sit second from bottom in the top flight.
