Former Reading star Michael Olise went viral after his quick post-match interview in Crystal Palace's win over West Ham.

The 20-year-old's deflected strike stole a 2-1 win for the Eagles over their London neighbours, his fifth goal in Palace colours.

Being interviewed on Sky Sports, the midfielder uttered just 11 words on his emotions after the win.

It has since been viewed over 500,000 times on SportsBIBLE on Twitter, and no doubt hundreds of thousands more times on other outlets.

Asked to talk on the goal, his descripton was: "Wilf [Wilfried Zaha] passed me the ball, shot and scored."

Similarly brief, when asked on his feeling after the goal, he said: "It was a good feeling."

Always understated when in Reading colours, the France Under-21 international made over 70 appearances for the Royals before his departure in 2021.

Upsetting supporters at the time with the low release clasue in his contract, reports from the Athletic indictate that Palace removed a £35m buyout clause from his contract last month.

Moving to Selhurst Park for a fee of £8m, he has settled well at Selhurst Park- quickly becoming a favourite.
