A Mediterranean slow roast restaurant popular in Dubai has opened its second UK venue in Reading.
Donor and Gyros are now offering their wraps and platters from Broad Street Mall.
Steven Connolly, General Manager Broad Street Mall, said he was excited to see what Reading thought of the “unique” food.

“I’m really happy to have Donor and Gyros as part of the Broad Street Mall family.
“They have a unique offering on what a donor kebab can be and it’s the perfect place to go for a quick bite or a sit down meal.”

The brand made its debut in the United Arab Emirates, bringing together the Greek sandwich, Gyros, and the Turkish Donor, which dates back to the Ottoman Empire.
Asked why they chose Reading as their next UK venue, a spokesperson said: “Reading is quite a popular town, its like a mini-city so there’s quite a lot of opportunities in Reading, so we wanted to be of the success.”
She continued: "Döner & Gyros mission is to ensure that the heritage and history of the iconic sandwiches sold in the restaurant stays alive and vibrant.
"When you visit Döner & Gyros, you share not only in the heritage and history of these products, but also delight in our authentic recipes using quality ingredients that is served freshly."
