Paul Ince makes two changes from the side that lost to Burnley on Saturday, both enforced due to injury.
Junior Hoilett and Andy Carroll both return from the start, in place of the injured Tom McIntyre and suspended Mamadou Loum.
Academy defenders Nelson Abbey and Jack Senga are on the bench, with Shane Long and Lucas Joao making the striking options ready in the wings.

Veteran Cameron Jerome is on the bench, having made 50 appearances for the Hatters.
Cornick netted on the final day of last season, taking advantage of Orjan Nyland's mistake in the 1-0 win at Kenilworth Road.
