Reading will be missing midfielder Mamadou Loum when they travel to Luton Town tomorrow, with the Senegal midfielder picking up his fifth yellow card in the 2-1 defeat to Burnley on Saturday.

An almost ever-present until tomorrow, the Porto loanee will be forced to miss the trip to Kenilworth Road, while vice-captain Tom Holmes sits dangerously on four with three fixtures following tomorrow's Bedfordshire battle.

Captain Andy Yiadom returned to the team at Turf Moor after missing the Bristol City win for the same reason.

Reading Chronicle:

Speaking on Loum's absence, manager Paul Ince said: "We go again. Mamadou is out now because he got booked, which doesn’t help our cause, but we have to gain confidence from the fact we came here and should’ve got something. They’re in the changing room like they’ve won the FA Cup. I said to the players to remember that because it’s the feeling we’re going to get."

In non-suspension news, Tom McIntyre is a potential absentee after the defender was substituted with a head concern after taking a powerful strike to the side of the skull.

Despite it not sounding too serious, Ince confirmed the medical team still need to pass the Academy graduate fit.

Reading Chronicle:

"He's fine," he admitted. "He had a migraine, so he’ll hopefully be ok. It was a loss to lose him because we were comfortable at the back and he’s a wonderful player. Hopefully he’ll be ok for Tuesday."

No longer a Royal, Academy graduate Gabe Osho will be missing for the Hatters after picking up a straight red card in defeat to bitter rivals Watford.

The defender played seven times for the first team before 2020 release.
