The researchers have outlined the most affordable postcodes, breaking them down by the median asking price for each.
The data reveals that the RG1 postcode, which covers East Reading and Coley Park, is the cheapest area to live with properties around £328,900 asking price.

Here are the cheapest postcodes in Reading, according to Zoopla Research.
The out codes are listed alongside the median asking price as of October 2022.
- RG1 - £328,900
- RG30 - £347,600
- RG2 - £395,900
- RG4 - £674,700

Zoopla's data showed that the RG4 postcode, which covers Caversham and Tokers Green, has the highest asking price with a price tag of £674,700.
