Will it be trick or treat this weekend? Here's the Halloween weather forecast if you're heading out in Berkshire. 

Halloween falls on Monday, October 31 this year which means that trick-or-treaters will be out and about in their creepy costumes all weekend.

Whether you're planning a frightful day out with the family or you're picking pumpkins at a patch nearby, here's the weather you can expect from Saturday right through to the spooky day itself.

Saturday Berkshire weather forecast

Saturday will see heavy showers that will change to clouds by early evening.

There is a 60% chance of rain from 4 pm but this drops dramatically to less than 5% by 5 pm.

Temperatures will peak at 21C with lows of 14C.

Sunday Berkshire weather forecast

Moving on to Sunday, it will start off a cloudy day and it will change to light showers by the afternoon.

It's unlikely we'll see any rain in the morning and early afternoon but showers are expected from 2 - 6 pm with a 30-40% chance.

Temperatures are expected to be slightly cooler than the day before, ranging from 12C - 17C.

Monday Berkshire weather forecast

Halloween itself paints a very similar picture with the Met Office predicting a a cloudy morning changing to sunny intervals by lunchtime.

Generally, the outlook is dry with a low chance of rain but this gets more likely into the evening with a 20% chance at 9 pm.

It will be a similar temperature to Sunday, ranging from 11C to 16C.
