Whether you’re supposed to be Dracula, a skeleton or a Frankenstein’s monster, Halloween is never quite as fun if your makeup is running down your face.

So whether you’re trick or treating with your children or partying with your friends, here are the times to avoid this weekend and October 31.

Saturday:

Today will remain largely cloudy and warmer temperatures for this time of year.

Tonight will remain mostly dry, with a 10 per cent or less chance of rain until 11pm.

Minimum temperatures will be a bearable 15C, which may affect your choice of outfit.

Sunday

Outbreaks of rain are more likely between 2pm and 5pm, with highs of 40 per cent likelihood.

A colder day, Sunday will begin dropping from 16C at 2pm to 13C by 9pm.

Monday (Halloween)

There is a 50 per cent chance it will rain from 9pm onwards, so it may be worth trick or treating earlier. At 6pm, for example, precipitation is only 10 per cent likely.

The cloud cover will maintain a warmish evening for late October, with minimum temperatures of 13C.
