The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Courts.

September 26:

TRISTAN GOOCH, 39, of Strafield in Bracknell, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from.

Namely not attending two plan office appointments, and planned telephone appointment – his telephone is also no longer operational. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £75 court costs.

CALLUM MCMAHON, 25, of Claremont Crescent, Newbury, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not keeping in touch as required. Ordered to pay £75 court costs.

KIERON MURPHY, 39, of Corwen Road, Reading, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence. Namely failing to attend unpaid work on August 12, 2022, and August 19, 2022. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £60 court costs.

STUART COVENTRY, 36, of Ashridge Court, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by no attending an induction appointment on June 9, 2022. Community order varied and ordered to pay £75 court costs.

JERMAL MCCARTHYROBERTSON, 23, of Deepdale in Bracknell, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with requirements of a community order. Namely not attending planned office appointments on August 30, 2022, and September 5, 2022. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £60 court costs.

September 27:

JOSEPH LOVE, 18, of The Beeches, Reading, admitted stealing two handbags and a belt worth £3,180 from Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge on August 11, 2022. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail at Charing Cross Police Station.

Made subject to a community order including requirements to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work. Must also pay £500 compensation and £85 court costs.

AJIB ALI KHAN, 50, of Flamborough Spur, Slough, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending planned office appointments on January 20, and February 2. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail at Berkshire Magistrates’ Court. Original offence included failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when asked by police in Maidenhead on January 15, 2021. Sentenced to nine weeks in prison due to ‘flagrant disregard for court orders’. Also ordered to pay £128 court costs.

MICHAEL AYRES, 23, of Point Royal in Bracknell, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending unpaid work on July 25, 2022, and August 15, 2022. Community order varied to include an extra 21 hours of unpaid on top of the original 60 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £60 court costs.

SHANE HARRIS, 22, of Litton Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending unpaid work on August 14, 2022, and August 21, 2022. Fined £65 and ordered to pay £60 court costs.
