Reading look to make it four matches unbeaten as they make the short trip into London to face Queens Park Rangers

Here's everything you need to know.

Reading Chronicle:

Form

A hotly anticipated fixture every season, there will be added bite with the knowledge that the winner could hit the automatic promotion places of the Championship with a win.

Both sides with new full-time managers, neither expected to find themselves in a play-off battle almost one third of the way through the season.

The R's are yet to play at Loftus Road this month, winning twice on the road, but it has not been scintillating with just two wins.

This mirrors the Royals' away form, with just two wins on their travels and a few hammerings.

Last time out, the hosts beat Sheffield United at Bramall Lane- the first team to do so since Reading in April- which made it a third win in four matches.

Paul Ince's side drew with high-flying Norwich City, having the better of the match against the Canaries, to back up a 3-1 win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

Team News

Despite injuries continue to pile up for Ince, there is some positive news with captain Andy Yiadom potentially fit enough to play a part.

Other than that, it remains as it was with Naby Sarr, Shane Long, Femi Azeez and Scott Dann all still out.

Michael Beale's QPR could be without star men Seny Dieng and Chris Willock, with test results expected back late in the day.

Last Time Out: QPR 4-0 Reading; Saturday, January 29 2022

In the heat of the most toxic era in Reading's recent history, a collapse at Loftus Road made it nine matches without a win- which included being knocked out of the FA Cup by a non-league team and a record 7-0 home defeat.

Almost 2,500 Royals travelled and it was over by half-time, trailing 3-0.

A fourth was headed in within 10 minutes of the restart to cue anger, hurt and frustration in an emptying away end.

Reading would lose the next two before picking up four points, a win marking the end of Veljko Paunovic's reign in Berkshire.

Little did we know then, Ince was waiting in the wings to take over.
