Reading fans will be pleased to hear that M4 closures have been postponed on Saturday, keeping the route open for those heading to the SCL Stadium.
With Huddersfield Town heading to Berkshire, the original plan was for the J12 to J11 Eastbound carriageway to be closed over the entire weekend to allow for Smart Motorway work to be done.
We are pleased to confirm that the M4 will be open on Saturday as we take on Huddersfield Town, however one lane will remain closed.

We're expecting a bumper crowd as part of our 'schools and grassroots' scheme for this match so please allow extra time to get to the game.
However, following conversations with the club, it has now been confirmed that it is to be open between 6am to 10pm on Saturday, albeit with one lane remaining closed.
This should ease congestion, which has been problematic in the town recently due to other motorway closures.
It must be noted that the club are expecting a bumper crowd against the Terriers, with almost 5,000 extra tickets sold to local schools and clubs- so plan extra time for your journey.
@officialhtsa if you leave now, you might make kick off! In all seriousness, good luck with the journey on Saturday. And any @ReadingFC fans, please allow plenty of time as there are also train strikes @STARReading @TheTilehurstEnd pic.twitter.com/pDjLJJZ7Fh

Unfortunately, the original plan will remain in place on Sunday, meaning you will need to make addition alterations if you plan on attending the women's clash with Tottenham Hotspur in the Continental Cup.
Works continue throughout the month, with work moving down to J10 and J11 Eastbound next week and the week after.
