Bristol City have confirmed that they have sold out their allocation for their trip to Reading next month.
More than 2,000 Robins are expected to make the short hop down the M4, with tickets snapped up within six hours and not making it past the seasont ticket holder stage.
One of the nearest grounds for both sets of supporters, it is always a hotly anticipated clash at the SCL Stadium or Ashton Gate.
🚨 AWAY DAY SELL OUT KLAXON 🚨
— Bristol City FC (@BristolCity) September 27, 2022
Tickets for next month's trip to Reading have sold out, thank you for your incredible support! 👏
Last season, with both fixtures on a midweek, Nigel Pearson's West Country outfit came away with two victories- 3-2 in Berkshire and 2-1 in Bristol.
The overall record is delicately poised with 41 wins apiece- but a visiting win on October 22 will mark the first time one of the sides have won three straight matches in the fixture for over five years- the Royals winning seven straight matches between 2010 and 2017.
In good form at RG2, Reading have lost just once on home soil so far this season.
The opposite for the red half of Bristol, they have just one away league win so far this campaign.
