Latest figures reveal that seven EFL sides are within the top 70 attended teams in the whole of Europe.
Sunderland, who won promotion back to the Championship last season, have averaged more than 37,900 in the second tier- more than European giants Juventus and Napoli in the Champions League.
Sheffield United, Norwich City and Derby County- who play in League One- all average more than 27,000 while Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town all make the list with crowds of over 24,000.

Unsurprisingly, Barcelona top the list with an average of more than 83,000.
Borussia Dortmund are the only other team to top 80,000, with Manchester United leading the way for Britain with 74,674.
West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Leeds United, Leicester City, Brighton and Hove Albion, Wolves, Southampton and Nottingham Forest all represent the Premier League on the list.
With 23 sides, England is the most represented country- with Germany second with 20.
In comparison, last season Reading averaged just 13,000, the lowest for a complete season since the turn of the Millennium.
