Have you broken your phone at a festival before and felt helpless without that little piece of technology?

Whether it’s from carelessness, drunkenness or just unluckiness, everyone has found themselves in that position.

This is why Reading Festival has chosen to host it’s first FREE tech and phone repairs workshop organised by Back Market.

From 26th-28th August, the workshop will be open for anyone who breaks or damages their phone from partying too hard – completely FREE.

The shop is located opposite the BBC1 Extra Stage.

Back market’s services will include screen and battery repairs, free screen protection and device cases, software diagnostics, and device lifecycle guidance.

Katy Medlock, UK General Manager at Back Market says: “Here at Back Market we wanted to create an experience that not only helps festival-goers by repairing their tech, but helps the environment by reducing e-waste.

“With so much waste created during the period this initiative is raising awareness of our impact and making a difference, whilst also putting a smile on people’s faces.”

Back Market’s workshop will also include a claw machine with refurbished tech prizes like Airpods, a unique music sequencer, and a photo booth.
