Reading and Millwall supporters will observe a minute's applause ahead of their clash on Saturday in memory of Lions' chief scout Bob Pearson.
Pearson spent more than three decades with the club, uncovering gems such as former Royal Dean Horrix and Millwall icons Teddy Sherringham and Neil Harris.
A former coach with Berkshire non-league outfit Slough Town, Pearson sadly passed away last week.
Millwall players will wear black armbands on the weekend, while Pearson's family will be in attendance at the Den.
Last week, when the Royals played Blackburn Rovers, Paul Ince's side joined Rovers in commemorating the life of former owner Jack Walker in wearing armbands and joining in a minute's applause.
More than 1,000 Reading fans are travelling to South London, with tickets in the upper tier still available until Friday lunch time.
