Reports claim that Reading are interested in Stoke City left-back Morgan Fox.

The 28-year-old has played all but 37 of his 262 career appearances for a second-tier side with the likes of Charlton Athletic, Sheffield Wednesday and the Potters.

Picking up a series of injuries over recent seasons has seen him play just 36 times since 2020.

The report, made by Football League World founder Sam Rourke, states: "Reading have enquired about Stoke City left-back Morgan Fox. Swansea and Sunderland also keen."

Reading are in the market for a left-back, with former player Baba Rahman an option the club are considering.

There is currently just one first team left-back on the books in RG2, with 22-year-old Nesta Guinness-Walker arriving from AFC Wimbledon.

The full-back is currently missing with a calf injury having played the first three full matches.
